XICO RIBAS AND BEA ALVAREZ
ROL is an electronic music duo formed by Xico Ribas and Bea Alvarez. They explore the intersection of ambient maximalism, sound design, noise and spanish bedroom pop. The band acts as a space for each of the members where each of its most prominent individual musical abilities - the textural and the melodic - can be deeply exploited, establishing a clear musical role for each of them. This set-up acts as a reflection of self-knowledge in the context of a couple, where the acceptance of each other's limitations and powers can be a clear lead to a stronger, deeper relationship.
